The New Mexico Research Facilty

The New Mexico Research Facilty is the location of one of XANA's supercomputers, this facility holds the supercomputer that supports the Desert Replika, this location was first seen in A Lack of Goodwill. Like the centre in the jungle, XANA is using the facilty to create motherboard chips that are used for weaponry as Yumi discovered when she observed the control pannel. The facility has also been shown to have no human maintanaince and that XANA has machines controling everything. It is unknown of the condition of this location after Team Lyoko destroyed the supercomputer in Hard Luck.

Siberian Research Facility

The Siberian Research Facility was the last Supercomputer visited on Code: LYOKO that was under XANA's control. It was seen in Cold Sweat and in Down to Earth. The facility manufactured robots capable of combat which XANA would use to take over the world and also contained a room filled with stored brains. Aelita used it in Down to Earth to enter the data to help save William. The Supercomputer was never physically destroyed, but ceased to be controlled by XANA upon his destruction.

The Space Station

The Space Station is a location of one of XANA's Supercomputers, it was recently constructed by the government and Team Lyoko arrived ten days ahead of the first set of astronauts after Jeremie informed Odd. The station itself has no artificial gravity as Odd and Yumi discovered when they first arrived in A Space Oddity. XANA used this Station to hold the Replika of Carthage and to create a large amount of silver orbs which could grow and retract spikes while firing themselves through anti-gravity to attack their targets.

The Factory

The Factory is a factory located in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, near Kadic. It used to be an old car factory, and was used by Franz Hopper as a base of operations in his experiments with Lyoko and Carthage. The Factory is considered to be Team Lyoko's headquarters.

The Factory is located in the middle of the Seine River, on what appears to be an artificial island. A bridge connects it to the mainland. A manhole on the bridge leads to the Sewers below; typically, members of Team Lyoko come up through this after travelling through the sewers from Kadic. The Factory can also be reached by boat; Team Lyoko used a dinghy in Plagued when XANA blocked the bridge.

The building itself is occasionally used in XANA's schemes; he most often uses the Factory Floor to make things, or attack our heroes. For example, XANA used the machinery there to make a robot in the episodesThe Robots. 

Kadic Junior High School

Kadic Junior High School, also known as Kadic Academy, is a prestigious combined school (K-12 and College) located in Boulogne-Billancourt, a suburb of Paris, in France. It is actually existent in real life, though it is not called Kadic; it is instead called Lakanal College. It is where Team Lyoko attends school, as well as all the the other kids live. The school was built in the early 1900s, as stated in the episode Is Anybody Out There?. However, the books reveal that the school was actually completed in 1878.

Kadic Academy, despite its population of junior high-age schoolchildren in the show, houses five different school levels; Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High School, High School and College/University. Due to the school being located in the capital of France, however, the children do NOT wear school uniforms.

Kadic is made up of various buildings, most of them connected to one another, others not. These buildings include the Dormitory Building, the Science Building, the Cafeteria, and various other locations. Kadic also has a Park, a Track and a Recreation Room (opened in Wreck Room) for the students in their free time. Kadic is a boarding school, and therefore the students live there, though a small number of local students, including Yumi, commute to it as if it was a day school. Classes occur 6 days a week (classes are only in the morning on Saturdays), according to Ulrich, but there are no classes on holidays or Sundays. This may change, as most French schools are now adopting the American version of the school week. Students are allowed to leave the grounds with permission. The Sewers connect it to the Factory. There are various entrances to the Sewers as well, though the one in the Park is the most used. There is also a tunnel from the Gym.

The school is also racially and culturally diverse, containing many people who are French-African or those of Japanese, Chinese, German, and Indian origin.

Jean-Pierre Delmas is the principal and Jim Morales is the campus supervisor, one of Mr. Delmas's advisors, perhaps a former student, and Suzanne Hertz is the other advisor.

The school is a private school, and therefore it costs a lot of money to go there, it has the right to select its students, and is funded in whole or in part by charging students' tuition, rather than relying on mandatory taxation through public (government) funding.

Hermitage

The Hermitage is the two-story house that Aelita and her father Franz used to live in. It is near Kadic Academy, on the opposite side of the woods. It is now desolate and damaged. In 1994, the house was raided by French government agents, who were sent to apprehend the two (why they apprehend a child like Aelita is unknown). It is unknown why the government didn't simply destroy the house, rather that damage it. In the backyard, there is a door that contains stairs as a shortcut to the Sewers. The entire property is guarded by security cameras.

Years later, the house would provide important clues as to Aelita's identity and a secret fifth sector of Lyoko. The Hermitage was where Aelita had intense hallucinations, including Franz Hopper playing the piano, an elf running from a pack of wolves, and government agents attempting to catch her. They led her to Mister Pück, a doll she got for Christmas many years earlier. The doll contained a locker key, which was used to get Franz Hopper's diary. Also, an out-of-place book on the Punic Wars was discovered here. It was this book that led to the code SCIPIO, essential to access Carthage, the hidden fifth sector of Lyoko. Often, Aelita will go here when she is upset or if she want to look for further clues concerning her father, despite the protests of Jeremie (even though in Wrong Exposure Jeremie exclaimed that he was desperate for answers so he and Aelita went together to the Hermitage where they found a picture of Franz Hopper and Aelita, also containing the source code for the Supercomputer Reboot Program).

The Jungle Research Facility

The Jungle Research Facility is one of the locations of XANA's Supercomputers. The facility (as the name suggests) is located in the middle of a vast jungle. Apart from the supercomputer, this facilty was used for the creation and observation of Cybernetic Spiders; it is unknown whether these were a plot of the government or one of XANA's weapon developments, although these spiders were forcibly shut down when the supercomputer short-circuited. The research facility is powered by two generators (one being a backup); however, these were both destroyed in Bragging Rights. It is unknown whether the faciltiy has been discovered after Team Lyoko left the site.

Lyoko

Lyoko (pronounced either l'yoh-koh or lee-oh-koh) is a virtual world in the Frenchanimated television seriesCode: LYOKO. It is contained within a supercomputer within the factory. It is divided into five separate sectors, all with their own unique features. The first four sectors are arranged around the fifth, like a star. Each sector is isolated from the others by the digital sea, also known as the digital void. The Ice Barrier is the first sector. The others are numbered counterclockwise starting from the first. Carthage is the fifth sector.

There are forty-one towers scattered about Lyoko; ten in each main sector and one in Carthage. They act as data processing nodes, pathways to the real world, and safe haven for those on Lyoko. It is through these towers that XANA can attack Earth. Throughout the four main sectors, giant wires wind their way out from the fifth sector to each of the towers in each of the sectors, acting as conduits for data. Red energy can be seen pulsing through these wires whenever XANA activates a tower, and pulsations follow the wires along the ground. These wires can be severed. The supercomputer has never been shut down long enough for the full extent of the shutdown to take place.
